Package includes car, fuel, driver allowance, tolls if applicable, permits and parking fees for sightseeing. Ooty accommodation is available for two nights, depending on the package. Attraction tickets, meals, boating, safari and train tickets are extra.
Car hire, Tempo Travellers and 20+1 seater Mini Bus are available. For couples or small families, a car is sufficient, and if the group size and luggage are larger, a Tempo Traveller or mini bus may be more suitable.
The tour stays at Ooty for 2 nights. Day 1 is Ooty sightseeing, Day 2 is sightseeing from Ooty to Pykara and back to Ooty, Day 3 is Nilgiri Mountain Railway and sightseeing in Coonoor and back to Coimbatore.
Depending on train availability, the third day can be booked around the Nilgiri Mountain Railway from Ooty to Coonoor. The train ticket is not included in the vehicle package. Once in Coonoor, our driver can proceed with plans for sightseeing.
On Day 2, along the Pykara route you visit Mudumalai. Safari tickets and timings are managed as per protocols and availability of the forest department. The safari cost is not part of the vehicle package.
Depending on the district rules, there might be a requirement to have an e-Pass for entry into the Nilgiris. Please check the latest Nilgiris e-Pass requirements before travelling.
Yes, we can discuss changes to the sightseeing order based on your travel plans. The order of attractions and train visits may also be influenced by train timetables, weather and traffic conditions. There may be a charge for additional sightseeing or extensions of the route.
